Evening Parties

Northumbria Gliding Club runs evening parties every summer during the week and the idea is for a group of 6 to 12 friends, family or work colleagues to get together and fly with our fully qualified instructors who will demonstrate the controls and let the pupil have a go during the flight. The evening usually finishes about dusk where there is a barbeque on the clubhouse balcony where you can have a drink and watch the sunset! Evening parties are charged at the following rates per person:

Winch Launch	£30.00*
Aerotow Launch	£50.00*
BBQ (per person)	£6.00

*For parties over 10, one person flies free

Please note additional family and friends are more than welcome to come and watch during the evening and have just the barbeque.

*Includes 28 days trial membership to the club where by you can come back any flying day and fly at club rates.

Weight Restrictions

Unfortunately weight restrictions apply.  The maximum weight allowed is 16 Stones (102 Kg).
