These are available to all Juniors who complete their Bronze Badge before their 18th Birthday. Each award offers a sum of £100 to be paid into the persons flying account. Applications are to be made in writing to Barry Rolfe at the BGA office. The address is below:British Gliding Association

The BGA is delighted to announce that the Centennial Scholarship Fund of the Royal Aeronautical Society has made available up to 40 scholarships to young glider pilots and to young people wishing to take up the sport. These are available to young people between 15 and 17 years of age, in full time educations and who have not yet flown solo. Both existing club members and newcomers to the sport are eligible.
